Is it safe?

Your wallet is protected by military-grade encryption. Even if someone got hold of your phone, they couldn't access your funds without your password. We strongly recommend writing down your recovery phrase and storing it somewhere safe offline — this is your ultimate backup if you ever lose your device.

Which devices does it work on?

RiddleWallet works on iPhone (iOS 16+), Android phones (Android 9+), and any modern web browser on desktop or laptop. You can even save it as a standalone file and run it without an internet connection.

⚠️ Never share your recovery phrase with anyone — not even us. Anyone who has it can access your wallet.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us. This page explains exactly what information we collect when you use Riddle products, what we do with it, and what we will never do. We've written it in plain English so there are no surprises.

We can't see your wallet — and that's the point

RiddleWallet stores your private keys on your own device, encrypted with a password only you know. We have no server that holds your keys, no database of your balances, and no way to access your funds even if we wanted to. This is by design. Your money is yours alone.

What we do collect

When you visit our website, basic information is logged automatically by our servers — things like your IP address, the browser you're using, and which pages you visited. This is standard for any website and helps us keep things running and spot problems. We may also collect anonymised, aggregated stats about how features are used (e.g. "200 people opened the swap page today") — never anything tied to you personally.

What we never do

We do not sell your data. We do not share your information with advertisers. We do not use tracking cookies to follow you around the internet. We do not build profiles on our users. Full stop.

Your transactions are public — that's how blockchain works

Every transaction on the XRP Ledger is recorded publicly and permanently on the blockchain. This is true of all blockchains — it's what makes them trustworthy and tamper-proof. Anyone can look up any XRP Ledger address on a block explorer. We have no control over this, and neither does anyone else.

Third-party connections

To show you token and NFT information, our apps may connect to third-party services like IPFS storage networks and public XRP Ledger nodes. These connections are only used to fetch data you've requested (like an NFT image) and are governed by those services' own privacy policies.

Keeping your account safe

The biggest risk to your wallet security is your recovery phrase — the 12 or 24 words shown when you create a wallet. Write it down and keep it somewhere safe offline. Do not store it in a notes app, email, or screenshot. No one from Riddle will ever ask you for it.

Children

Our products are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect any information from people under 18.

Updates to this policy

If we make meaningful changes to how we handle your data, we'll let you know through our community channels on Telegram and Discord before the changes take effect.

Terms of Service

These are the rules for using Riddle DeFi Labs products and services. We've written them plainly so you actually know what you're agreeing to. By using any Riddle product, you're agreeing to these terms.

Who can use Riddle?

You need to be at least 18 years old and live somewhere that legally allows you to use cryptocurrency tools. It's your responsibility to check whether that applies to you — crypto laws vary widely around the world and change frequently.

We never hold your money

RiddleWallet is what's called a "non-custodial" wallet — which simply means we never touch your funds. Your XRP and tokens live on the XRP Ledger, accessible only through your private keys, which only you hold. If you lose your recovery phrase, nobody — including us — can restore access. Please keep it safe.

This is not financial advice

Nothing you see on our platforms — prices, token information, charts, or anything else — should be taken as investment advice. Crypto markets are volatile. You could lose money. Always do your own research and only put in what you can afford to lose.

Please don't use Riddle for anything illegal

Our tools are built for honest people to manage and trade their own crypto. You may not use Riddle to break any laws, defraud anyone, manipulate markets, launder money, or try to bypass our security measures. Violating these rules may result in us taking action to restrict your access.

We do our best, but can't guarantee everything

Our products are provided as-is. While we work hard to keep everything running smoothly, we can't guarantee the apps will always be available or error-free. We are not responsible for losses caused by technical issues, network outages, bugs, or your own mistakes (like sending to the wrong address). Crypto transactions are irreversible — always double-check before you send.

Our liability is limited

If something goes wrong and you believe Riddle is at fault, our maximum liability to you is capped at $100 USD. We know that sounds blunt, but it reflects the reality that we're not a bank or an exchange holding your assets — you are in control.

These terms are governed by English law

If there's ever a dispute, it will be handled under the laws of England and Wales.

We may update these terms

If we make significant changes, we'll post about it in our Telegram and Discord communities in advance. Continuing to use our products after changes means you've accepted the updated terms.

Risk Disclosure

Crypto can be exciting — but it comes with real risks. Please read this before you start. We want you to go in with your eyes open so you can make decisions that are right for you.

Prices go up and down — sometimes a lot

The value of XRP and other tokens can change dramatically in a very short time. Something worth $100 today could be worth $20 tomorrow, or $500 — there are no guarantees either way. Only ever invest money you could afford to lose entirely. Past price performance tells you nothing about what will happen in the future.

There is no "undo" button

Every transaction on the XRP Ledger is permanent. If you send XRP to the wrong address, or approve a trade you didn't mean to, there is no way to reverse it. Always double-check the address and amount before confirming anything. Take your time.

You are responsible for your own wallet

RiddleWallet puts you in full control — which also means full responsibility. If you lose your recovery phrase, nobody can help you recover access to your wallet. If someone else gets hold of your recovery phrase, they can take everything. Write it down, store it somewhere safe offline, and never share it with anyone.

Some tokens are very risky

The XRP Ledger allows anyone to create a token. While that's powerful, it also means there are tokens with no value, tokens created as scams, and tokens that could drop to zero overnight. Do your research before buying any token, especially smaller ones. If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Trading pairs may not always have buyers or sellers

For popular tokens like XRP and USDT, there's usually plenty of liquidity — meaning you can buy or sell easily. For smaller or newer tokens, there may not be many people willing to trade at the price you want. This can mean you get a worse price than expected, or can't sell when you want to.

Crypto laws are changing

Governments around the world are still figuring out how to regulate crypto. Laws in your country may change in ways that restrict what you can do. It's your responsibility to stay aware of the rules in your own jurisdiction.

Technology is never perfect

While the XRP Ledger has an excellent track record, no technology is immune to bugs or unexpected issues. Network upgrades can occasionally affect how transactions work. We do our best to keep up with these changes, but we can't guarantee perfect service at all times.
